Sarah Barry is a Brazilian artist based in New York. with a BFA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Barry is a multidisciplinary artist who enjoys enjoys writing and illustrating stories for children, and creating dynamic repeating patterns, setting up intricate displays and painting large scale murals. Her Brazilian heritage is a large source of inspiration for her bold, colorful, and playful work. She tends to work either with Adobe Creative Suite programs or traditionally with gouache, colored pencils, markers, and inks. Her favorite subject to illustrate are people, fruits, vegetables, and insects.
